NEGOTIATION

Negotiation underlies the most successful business and social encounters and when done effectively, it can be the gateway to achieving personal and professional success. While there are some naturally gifted negotiators, the truth is anyone can learn to bargain successfully. With effective training and consistent application of key concepts, individuals can become methodical, confident and purposeful negotiators.

With over fifteen years of experience teaching negotiation to a broad range of audiences, Mori Taheripour has helped countless students and clients achieve their goals in work and life. She is a seven-time recipient of awards for excellence in teaching at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mori is a lead negotiation faculty member in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, a $500 million investment to help small businesses in the United States create jobs and economic growth by providing entrepreneurs with a practical business education, access to capital and business support services.

Mori also serves a diverse client base that includes Fortune 100 companies, sports business organizations, universities, foundations, and professional associations. Her coursework, customized to meet the unique needs of each client, uses an experiential teaching methodology to facilitate participants’ practical application of their theoretical knowledge. To ensure the immediate relevance of training concepts, she integrates real-world challenges such as gender biases, relationship dynamics, cultural differences, and economic uncertainty.

Mori is a highly sought-after speaker for conferences and events around the world. Her book on negotiation, Bring Yourself: How to Harness the Power of Connection to Negotiate Fearlessly was published in March 2020.
