FEATURED CLIENTS:
Whether I'm joining a podcast, sitting down for an interview, or speaking to an audience, the conversation usually begins the same way: "Tell us about yourself." For years, I found that question surprisingly difficult to answer.
My career hasn't followed a straight line. I've worked across industries, cultures, sports, public health, business, and higher education, and I never had the perfect way to explain how those different roles fit together or how they contributed to my expertise in negotiation.
Over time, I came to understand that the range of my experiences wasn’t something I needed to explain away. It was the source of my perspective. Taken together, those experiences gave me a deeper understanding of people and the role negotiation plays in everyday life.
This perspective informs the way I teach. Negotiation isn’t something that happens only in boardrooms or across conference tables. It’s part of how you make decisions, build relationships, advocate for what matters, and determine the direction of your life. That’s why I’ve devoted my work to helping people approach negotiation with greater self-awareness, openness, and confidence.
The most successful negotiations begin with understanding who you are and what matters most to you. When you bring your authentic self to the table with curiosity and a genuine desire to understand others, you create the possibility for stronger relationships and better outcomes.
